i wanna master my mind

One of the lines from The Secret that is stuck in my mind is this - "If you worry about having negative thoughts, you will attract more worrying about your negative thoughts, and multiply them at the same time."

Oftentimes when people begin to understand the Great Secret,
they become frightened of all the negative thoughts that they
have. They need to be aware that it has been scientifically
proven that an affirmative thought is hundreds of times more
powerful than a negative thought. That eliminates a degree of
worry right there.
- MICHAEL BERNARD BECKWITH
There are many things to worry about. But I wanna learn how to be able to meditate and focus on eliminating those negative thoughts and replacing them with positive ones.

For instance, if I wanna be able to accomplish something and there's a bunch of constraints that prevent me from accomplishing that goal, I wanna be able to take away the worry of NOT being able to get there. Instead, I wanna be able to attract the positive thoughts..that I WILL get there...and that there are more ways to reach there than ways to NOT reach there.

I wanna learn how to meditate so I can master my mind.

It's Gonna Be A Great Day

It IS gonna be a great day!

Learning About The Secret

"Whatever is going on in your mind, you are attracting to you." - The Secret
"Every thought of yours is the real thing. A force." - The Secret

The first question I asked when I saw the book was - "What is the Secret?". Back then I thought "The Secret" was a mystery novel. Well it isn't a novel. But it has definitely been kept a mystery for hundreds of years.

I learned that the Secret simply is - the law of attraction. It was mentioned that all that is happening in your life, you are attracting through your thoughts.

It seems like a simple thought. But I'm sure it wouldn't be. Well at least not if I don't put my energy into it.

"YOU are the one who calls the law of attraction into action. And you do it through your thoughts." - The Secret

A Fan Of the Secret

I was still a senior in college when I saw this particularly intriguing book at one of my favorite bookstores in the city. It had an ancient-theme to it that drew the attention of many. Its title said - "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne.

At first I thought it was another mystery novel that I would love to read. But I remember not being in the mood for mystery, so I walked past it and bought another title. Little did I know of what I was missing back then. Little did I know that the book would surely have made me want to reflect in writing...like I am now. Back when I first saw it, I was a fan of the book cover...and now I am a HUGE fan of how it could possibly impact (and have been impacting) my, and other people's lives.

Now that I am learning about The Secret, I know it is vital to write my thoughts about it. My reflections. My experiences of it - past, present and future. I want to learn about it by heart. And I believe that it is by putting my thoughts in black and white that I will learn so.

So here goes my very own rant pit about my thoughts...of The Secret.
